Black Churches in the Civil Rights Movement in Lexington, Kentucky

Our Service Learning project is designed to bring forth information about Kentucky women who lived in Lexington during the time of the civil rights movement and who were also involved in the local churches and communities. As a group we acquired our information on this topic through extensive research in the Lexington area and through recording interviews with Kentucky women from this time period.
